Description

Epoxy Pool Paint

AquaGuard 5000® Epoxy Pool Paint is a high performance, 100% solids, epoxy resin with proprietary alkali curing agents.

AquaGuard 5000® is a non-porous surface coating. This product keeps the coated surface immune to rust, algae, chlorine or damage from other chemical reactants.  Because of this, once resurfaced with AquaGuard 5000®, most water and chemical stains are easily removed with light washing or scrubbing. Swimming pool owners who resurface with AquaGuard 5000® will have less maintenance, less chemical usage, and spend less time and money over time. AquaGuard 5000® Epoxy Pool Paint is not only a stylish surface coating that will restore lasting beauty to any pool, but also makes the pool easier to clean and maintain over time.

This product is not only for use in private or commercial swimming pools. AquaGuard 5000® is also FDA compliant to be safe for drinking water and may be used in surge tanks, ponds, fountains, and dive tanks as well.

Color Selection

AquaGuard 5000® is currently available in 7 beautiful solid finishes. This includes Pearl White and Ice Blue – both approved for use in commercial swimming pools because of their high levels of lightness and luminous reflectance. Florida Building Code 454.1.2.4 requires commercial swimming pool floors and walls to have the characteristic of reflecting instead of absorbing light. This is measured on a scale of Lightness (CIE L-value) and a wet Luminous Reflectance Value (CIE Y-value) as determined by American Standard ASTM D 4086, ASTM E 1477, ASTM E 1347. Our product not only meets, but exceeds required levels in both areas.

Our product improves swimming safety, especially for children. People standing outside the water, such as lifeguards and swimming pool supervisors are able to quickly identify swimmers who may be  in need of emergency intervention.

In addition to our 7 solid finishes, we also offer an exclusive Designer Series which artistically combines colors to add a depth of color and uniqueness to the surface while also camouflaging imperfections in the pool’s main structure.
