Frequently Asked Questions
- Can this resin be used underwater during application?
- No. The surface must be completely dry for proper adhesion. Once fully cured, the resin becomes water-resistant.
- What’s the difference between polyester resin and epoxy?
- Polyester resin cures faster, is more cost-effective, and is preferred for large-area lamination and repairs. Epoxy offers slightly better adhesion but at a higher cost.
- How long is the working time after mixing the hardener?
- Working time (pot life) is typically 10–15 minutes, depending on temperature and hardener ratio.
